What Is 6×3 Timber 3.6m?

These 6×3 timber lengths of 3.6m have been planed on all sides, resulting in a smooth easi edge that ensures comfortable handling. Although they have a nominal size of 75mm x 150mm, the actual finished dimensions are 72mm x 145mm.

Designated as carcassing timber with a C24 grading, they are perfectly suited for structural applications such as flooring joists, roofing, timber frame stud walls, and other general joinery projects.

We take pride in offering timber that carries FSC or PEFC certification, signifying responsible sourcing practices from environmentally sustainable suppliers. For those seeking longer lengths or different timber sizes, we have a variety of options available both online and upon inquiry.

Please keep in mind that the finished size of our carcassing timber may slightly differ from the nominal dimensions. Expect to receive timber with a thickness 3mm less and a width 5mm less than the specified nominal measurements. Additionally, please note that the colour and finish shown are representative only and may exhibit slight variations as a result of the natural characteristics of the product.
